Russian Learning Resources I Actually Use
RusDrills is just one piece of the puzzle. These are the resources I personally use and recommend from my own Russian learning — no sponsorships, just things that have genuinely helped me.
- RussianPodcast.eu — my go-to for listening practice, with episodes graded by level so you can find something that stretches you without leaving you lost.
- Preply — where I work with a Russian tutor. Nothing replaces regular conversation with a real teacher who corrects you and keeps you accountable.
- About Russian in Russian (@orusskomporusski) on YouTube — a fully immersive channel where Russian is explained in Russian; once you have some basics, this kind of comprehensible input does wonders for your ear and vocabulary.
Pair these with the free grammar drills and listening practice on RusDrills for a well-rounded routine.
RusDrills offers 300+ free interactive Russian grammar exercises with instant feedback, spaced repetition, and audio pronunciation.
