What it really means

Вот points to, presents, or concludes something: «Вот мой билет» means “Here is my ticket.” Ведь is a discourse particle appealing to a known fact, justification, or gentle insistence. It does not normally mean “here”; its position is flexible and commas depend on the whole sentence.
